So here's a little preview, the title song Brot, in icelandic. A rough English translation of the lyrics follows.

Brot (The breaking)

No storms have crashed on me this night
to my relief
I have walked a crooked path, all my life and plans
lie askew
But even if sometimes I can try to sail my life straight
chaos still haunts me
The world’s hard times fill my mind with a blizzard
I find no refuge.

Will I find today a short respite
Will I find in this place some sanctuary
just for one breath.

I have been thrown across the ocean, sunk to the bottom
ran my heart aground
Got back afloat, waves crashed on my soul,
could not find my way to safe harbour.
And though sometimes I find quiet, It goes slow and hard
calming the waves.
But the thought that life’s hailstorm will subside
I count as my life’s salvation.

Will I find today a short respite
Will I find in this place some sanctuary
just for one breath.

Best wishes,
Svavar Knútur
